What manual therapies do you use and how are they different than massage?

My treatment focus is on manual therapies which assist with the releasing of trigger points and fascial restrictions and mobilizing joints to relieve pain and increase mobility.
 
I also encorporate many holistic therapies into my practice. 
 
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity.
 
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
 
Trigger Point Therapy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on detecting and releasing trigger points. Located in the skeletal muscle, trigger points are spots that produce pain when compressed.
 
LED Light Therapy this non-invasive, low-level light therapy is usually used for the treatment and healing of skin and wound conditions and for pain relief.

Why use a direct pay service model for patients?

Most patients have insurance deductibles that need to be met prior to coverage. The patient is usually responsible to pay the full price for $250 or more until the deductible is met per session. Here at Mobility with Lilly, the rates are less than half that in hopes that the power to choose care is given back to the patient. We do not need to rely on approvals and can focus care where it needs to be in order to heal and move better.

What should I wear to an appointment?

Please wear comfortable, loose clothing with shoes. Be aware that I should have access to the affected area for manual therapy, if needed during session.

Can I use my insurance to pay for treatment?

We are an out of network provider. A full visit summary with codes and pricing can be provided to patient for reimbursement if the insurance company allows for that coverage. Our goal is to keep our fees at a resonable cost to accommodate our self-pay and out-of-network patients.

How many visits will I need?

Each patient’s needs are different. Some patients with acute issues will need to schedule weekly sesions for a few weeks for positive results, while others return on a monthly basis for “tune-ups” to manage chronic pain. Studies show that most patients who receive manual-therapy based therapy see longer lasting results with fewer sessions.

We take precautionary steps to ensure a safe visit while you are receiving care at Mobility with Lilly!
 • High touch surfaces are disinfected between patients
 • All linen, pillows and towels are changed
 • We try to maintain a fifteen minute window between patients to ensure there is no cross exposure or need to wait
Do to the close nature of manual therapy, face masks are required to be worn upon entering appointment.
